For many years, the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) has worked to raise the aspirations and attainment of young people in Kent and Medway who may not consider progression to Higher Education (HE) as a route to success.

Our outreach work in this region is via the Kent and Medway Progression Federation (KMPF). KMPF combines UCA’s self-funded outreach activities with additional funding from the Office for Students (OfS) through their Uni Connect programme, in partnership with more than 40 schools and colleges.

As the creative specialist in the region, UCA promotes progression in creative arts, business and technology through a variety of activities, including workshops, talks and self sign-up events. In the KMPF network, we work with young people in Years 7-13 and those studying on further education (FE) courses.
